Maintenance

Maintenance is an important part of keeping your web site working securely. As WordPress is updated, the software used on your site — your theme and plugins — will need it too. During our updates, we delete spam comments, make backups and test for performance. We also include time for problem solving and page edits. Many companies hire part-time or full-time employees to do this work. Consider us an extension of your company at a fraction of the cost.

We asked Perugi Design to do a fairly complex website from a design perspective that a large Boston agency had failed to figure out. Not only did she succeed and do a beautiful job but she surpassed all our expectations. Working with Deb was a very collaborative experience and I plan to bring any new websites that come into our PR firm to her. We could not be happier with her work.

Book Store

I highly recommend Strunk and White’s small but influential book on writing. It is not difficult to learn techniques of good blog writing if you follow its advice! I have given this book to many of my friends and family, and now you can have your own copy!

WordPress: Visual QuickStart Guide, uses a visual approach to teach the essential elements of WordPress, one of the world’s most popular publishing platforms. This book gives readers the tools they need to create beautiful, functional WordPress-powered sites with minimal hassle. I learned so much from Peachpit Press books. They are all excellent.

Since Don’t Make Me Think was first published in 2000, hundreds of thousands of Web designers and developers have relied on usability guru Steve Krug’s guide to help them understand the principles of intuitive navigation and information design. It is witty, commonsensical, and eminently practical.

We design to elicit responses from people. We want them to buy, read, or take action of some kind. Designing without understanding what makes people act the way they do is like exploring a new city without a map. This book combines real science and research with practical examples to deliver a guide every designer or editor needs.
